Teambuilding and Ropes Course Programs
Come and enjoy the majesty of the San Gabrielle Mountains. Paradise Springs has 185 acres of camp, strewn with trails to explore. Our trails weave through the Angeles National Forrest ranging from 20-minute jaunts around the campus, to full day explorations to the Devil’s Punchbowl and Vincent’s Gap. Trail maps are available in the office and our staff is happy to help you find your way.
What would you do if you were lost in the woods? Could you survive? This hike with one of our outdoor educators will educate you on precautionary steps to take before leaving home. You will also learn how to find food water and shelter, what to do in backwoods emergencies, and learn how to find civilization if you are lost.
Low Ropes Course
Paradise Springs offers the low ropes challenge over a rushing stream and is fun for all ages. Try not to slip and get your feet wet!
We offer nine different elements with varying degrees of difficulty. This is an excellent introduction to outdoor adventure and a great partner to our team building program. This is a fun and challenging, but not so scary, program targeted toward a younger audience, but is fun for all ages Grade 1 and above.
Take the challenge! Learn the basics of rappelling in a safe and supportive environment. Our facilitators teach the safest methods used by professional rock climbers.
Then, step off backwards onto a 30 foot tall rock face. Choose from two routes: a gradual line or a more challenging sheer wall. This is an excellent introduction to outdoor adventure activities and first time rappelling.
Grade 4 and up. As safety is our number one priority, participation may be refused at the facilitators discretion.
If you’ve already experienced our basic rappelling rocks or are looking for an extreme challenge, take the next step and ask about our advanced course. A 72 foot descent that will test your courage!
High Ropes Course
Get the full Paradise Springs experience with our complete high ropes challenge. Begin with a 40-foot ascent to a perch high up in the trees. Then tackle three obstacles at dizzying heights including the Burma Bridge, the Vines, and the X-Crossing.
Finish out the whole experience with an exciting ride down our 400 foot zip line. This activity pushes the limits of your comfort zone in a safe and supportive environment.
6th grade and up. 220 pound weight limit. As safety is our number one priority, participation may be refused at the facilitators discretion.
Paradise Springs Famous Zipline
Harness up and take the ride! Climb up a tree onto the platform 45 feet in the air (your facilitator will have you on a safety belay system). One of our trained facilitators will hook into the zip line, count down from 3, and you’ll be on your way down watching 350 feet of mountain terrain whiz by under your feet.
This is a great first-time outdoor adventure activity, and fun for all.
5th grade and up. 220 pound weight limit. As safety is our number one priority, participation may be refused at the facilitators discretion.
